Pacaya Volcano Tour: Itinerary
The volcano tour begins with a morning transfer from Antigua Guatemala, or Guatemala City (1 hour) towards the foothills of the active Pacaya volcano.
This volcano hike will take 1.5 hours. Approximately and requires a moderate effort. Please take note that it is possible to rent a horse at the park entrance.
Our path will take you through a pine forest, where you will get to the volcanic ash path and finally reach the cone. You can enjoy excellent views of the North’s volcanoes, the Pacific coast’s lowlands, and El Salvador from the top.
After enjoying our volcano adventure tour, we will return to the foothills to take our minivan back to your hotel.
