Experience Lake Atitlan

Discover one of the most beautiful destinations on the continent, the journey of Lake Atitlán starts with a breathtaking boat ride on the lake towards San Juan La Laguna.Learn about the ancient process of creation of textiles, visit a coffee plantation, you will have lunch at the Casa Maya project.

Following lunch, you are going to travel toward Santiago Atitlan to explore the village as well as the religious syncretism, a mixture of the catholic faith and Mayan beliefs.

Then you will go back to your hotel.

Guatemala City to Tikal

After breakfast, head to the Mayan site of Iximché; after the visit, you can enjoy a meal in the Tecpan area before continuing to the Guatemala City airport for a short flight to Mundo Maya airport.

After the approximately 45-minute flight, you will arrive in the province of Peten, Our team will be waiting for you to provide a transfer to your hotel. (ask the Travel advisor about the possibility of going directly to Tikal and have the opportunity to enjoy a Sunrise tour).

Tikal Guided Tour

After breakfast, we will leave for the Tikal National Park, where you will be guided through the trails of the Tikal, which is one of the most beautiful Mayan sites and a unique open laboratory of flora and fauna, representative of the tropical zone.Lodging in Flores Area

Yaxha Nature & Archaeological Tour – Guatemala City

Today you will board our bus and head towards Yaxha National Park.

Yaxha is located on the banks of the Yaxha Lake; here, you will walk through their causeways, temples, and plazas while learning about the fascinating Maya history. In the afternoon, return to the airport to take the return flight to Guatemala City.

    The following terms and conditions apply to all Tours organized by Mayan World Tour & Travel.
    For this purpose, the term “Tours” shall include all room accommodation bookings at hotels, resorts, excursions, tours, transfers, rentals, etc., that have been organized on your behalf by Mayan World Travel.

    Payment for Trip:

    We do ask for deposits and we kindly request that payment is made in the following manner:

    25% of the total cost of the booking is required at the time booking is confirmed. 100% of the total cost of the booking on or before 30 days prior to departure for Guatemalan tours and 45 days prior to departure for Belize and Honduras tours (This is so because some services require full payment to confirm booking).

    Cancellations and Refunds:

    If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip, the following fees will apply computed as of the date of receipt of written cancellation notice.

    Minimum fee:

    30 days or more prior to arrival:

    All non refundable deposits, surcharges and deposits will be charged. A cancellation fee of 10% of the entire trip cost will be charged

    30-15 days prior to arrival:

    All non refundable deposits, surcharges and deposits will be charged. A cancellation fee of 25% of the entire trip cost will be charged

    15 days or less:

    All non refundable deposits, surcharges and deposits will be charged 100% of trip cost.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:

    We are not responsible for changes which arise as a result of events outside of our control, such as technical or maintenance problems with transportation, changes imposed by re-scheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, or main charter company, war or threat of war, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, bad weather or terrorist activity.

    Insurance:

    * We highly recommend that all clients purchase trip cancellation insurance.

    It is a condition of the agreement between us that you take out adequate Vacation insurance against cancellation charges, unexpected curtailment of your vacation, medical expenses arising overseas including repatriation, loss or damage to luggage and personal liability claims against you.

    Should you fail to secure such any of central American countries Travel Insurance coverage prior to your Travel, then you accept full responsibility for yourself and all of the members of your party, and indemnify Mayan World Travel Agency and representatives (as applicable) for any and all costs that may arise, which would otherwise have been met, had such Central America travel insurance been in force.
