Ram Tzul Ecological Reserve and El Quetzal Biotope (Resplendent Quetzal)
There are 21 microclimates in the cloudy wood in Guatemala, being this region considered the less impacted.
Ram Tzul Ecological Reserve has mountains of primary vegetation still virgin and others in process of natural regeneration by means of reforestation.

Semuc Champey & Lanquin
Semuc Champey is a beautiful series of small ponds and pools on a natural land bridge that crosses the Cahabon River, The Cahabon River submerges itself at the entrance of Semuc Champey and resurfaces about 400 meters later after it passes this natural limestone bridge suspended with beautiful crystal clear ponds. In this unique natural formation you have water with shades of light green emerald to dark blue sapphire.
Lanquin, this is an enormous and beautiful complex with chambers and rooms, limestone formations of extraordinary beauty of an infinite nature, some of the cave formations have names of animals or other figures. The Lanquin caves are also a sacred site used by the many of the Mayas from all over Guatemala, who believe the cave is the “heart of heaven”, and that in the depths of the cave “the secret of centuries is hidden”.
Some of the birds you will see, Little Hermit, Rufous tailed Hummingbird, Azure-crowned Hummingbird, Blue-crowned Motmot, Crimson-collared Tanager, Barred Ant-Shrike,
Chestnut-Headed Oropendola, Yellow Backed Oriole, Collared Aracary, Olive Throated Parakeet.

Day 1: Ram Tzul Reserve
5:30 AM. Departure from Antigua Guatemala toward San Pedro Sacatepéquez, time to enjoy this multicolor market with fruits, flowers and Maya people.
We continue to Ram Tzul Eco Lodge
16:00 bird watching and visit Rubel Chain waterfalls,
Lodging at Ram Tzul Reserve
Day 2: Quetzal Quest
Early morning birdwatching tour at Los Ranchitos Reserve for Quetzal quest.
After breakfast private transfer to Lanquin
Birdwatching around the Caves in the afternoon.
Lodging at El Retiro Eco Lodge (B)
Day 3: Semuc Champey / Guatemala City
Early transfer to Semuc Champey Waterfalls
Birdwatching and enjoy the natural pools.
After lunch private transfer to Guatemala City
